New Product: Attack Whitewater Inflatable Kayak from Advanced Elements

We recently previewed Advanced Elements' new Attack Inflatable Kayak, a whitewater-specific self-bailer. The new model is scheduled to arrive in early 2012.

Rated through Class III, the AE1050 Attack weighs in at 34lbs. Measurements are 9'6" in length, a width of 35 inches and a max payload of 200lbs. Folded size is 34x19x9 inches. The Attack features a tough 840 denier PVC tarpaulin smooth skin with a tube diameter of 9.5 inches and a rocker of 12 inches (bow/stern rise) for quick turns. PVC bladders are independent of the cover, giving it a durable, double layer thickness.

Three air chambers, open self-bailing ports, adjustable seating, adjustable thigh straps, hull abrasion rails and a self-draining covered rear cargo hold for stashing gear round out the package.

The Attack Inflatable Kayak will come with carrying case, thigh straps, repair kit, folding seat and instruction manual. MSRP $639.99.

Advanced Elements will also be offering the Attack 215cm 2-pc breakdown paddle, an ultra-light and extremely rigid full-carbon fiber paddle with asymmetrical blade. MSRP $249.99
