Now, AirKayaks introduces the limited edition Advanced Elements AdvancedFrame DS-XLC Series™* inflatable kayak. With an identical footprint to the AdvancedFrame DS XL, the XLC has an added 5 inches in length over the standard AdvancedFrame, creating a kayak comfortable enough for both smaller and taller paddlers. The longer, streamlined body - in conjunction with the high pressure floor - provides better tracking and increased glide with minimal increase in weight, while an adjustable foot peg system allows paddlers to find the support perfect for their size and paddling style.

This AdvancedFrame foldable kayak also features a removable, zip-on deck, allowing paddlers the flexibility of an open design for easy entry, or a closed, deck design for inclement weather and for attaching an optional spray skirt. A zippering pocket, bungee deck lacing and multiple d-rings on the deck allow paddlers to easily access gear. Additional d-rings along the kayak perimeter provide more attachment points for gear or for utilizing an optional Rapidup sail.

Removable rigid ribs in the bow and stern are made of high grade aluminum, allowing the bow to slice through water like a knife. The stern acts as a skeg, which increases the tracking performance. When the chambers inflate, these ribs are pressed against the outer cover and form a high performance bow and stern which rival the tracking of a hard-shell day touring kayak yet still folds up compactly!

The AdvancedFrame kayak is manufactured from extremely durable materials and high-end components. There is plenty of on-board storage space without cramping your leg room, making extended trips much more enjoyable.
