The Deschutes' unique "feather frame" consists of a laminated EVA floor paired with an integrated inflatable thwart and stiffening bar - this creates rigidity yet keeps the kayak body lightweight.
Three military valves - both side chambers and rear thwart support - allow the Deschutes to be inflated quickly, resulting in a kayak that is easy to set up.Front and rear spray guards are positioned to keep paddlers dry, each with bungee deck lacing for attaching gear. Room behind the thwart provides ample storage space or the ability to bring a canine companion.Paddling comfort is enhanced with the adjustable, new Core 2 seat, featuring a foam base and breathable mesh high backrest placed against the integrated thwart.The commercial-grade, smooth-skin Duratex hull material is flexible, rugged and dries quickly.
