At a mere 11.1 lbs, the new 7.5 foot Kokopelli Nirvana PackRaft with Spraydeck - part of the Whitewater Series - is an exceptional choice for paddlers needing lightweight, durable and drier river-running options. Featuring an upgraded spraydeck and skirt system rather than open ports, paddlers can now focus on the river and not on getting wet; the sprayskirt is 100% seam taped, ensuring complete dryness when paddling.

All Kokopelli packrafts now come with upgraded D7 Leafield military valves. The two-chamber design (side chamber and floor) provides greater safety than traditional one-chamber packrafts, while one-inch seam welds with reinforced tape ensure durability and the highest-quality, air-holding properties. The Nirvana sidewalls are now constructed from a 210 denier, double-coated nylon, while the floor features a beefed-up DuPont™ Kevlar® Aramid-Nylon Blend - both have slightly increased TPU coatings for greater durability.

Twelve-inch diameter tubes ensure stability on the water as well as providing some protection from swells. Six integrated nylon d-rings (4 front/2 rear) serve as convenient gear-tie downs or for optional (not included) thigh straps. The Nirvana Spray Deck series does not include a floor, but has an inflatable seat base and backband.

The Nirvana models have been redesigned with 30% more volume in the stern. This provides more buoyancy and a slightly lower waterline, eliminating water pooling issues. A new bottom hull construction makes the packrafts more rigid. The seams are first stitched and then welded with double-reinforced 1 in (2.5cm) wide seam tape. Additionally, the pontoon-to-floor attachment point is glued to the sidewall and then reinforced with v-seam tape around the entire interior of the packraft. By repositioning where the hull bottom attaches to the side chambers, the paddler sits a bit higher, and doesn’t sag down in the boat. This in turn improves the backband support (it is now positioned lower on the back), as well as making it easier to paddle over the side chambers. Together, these improvements eliminated the need for an inflatable floor, saving on weight.

The Nirvana is part of Kokopelli's Whitewater Series. The narrower trim allows for a more fluid carve into and out of eddies while the increased rocker makes surfing your favorite hole that much easier. Whitewater Series packrafts have extra floor reinforcement on the sidewalls. They also feature a 3-Point Thigh-Strap system (sold separately). Thigh-straps allow for a more responsive handling whether you are carving into an eddy, surfing a wave or even rolling your packraft.

The Nirvana Spraydeck is perfect for rapid water environments through Class III and can easily be backpacked to remote locations, taken on camping trips, tossed on a plane or stashed in an RV. With the included inflation bag, the Spraydeck Nirvana can be ready for the water in less than five minutes.
